The settling tank is a separator system of sludge of wastewater resulting from coating processes.

Principle of operation:

The water saturated with sludge and particulates in the water collection tank of the coating cabins are sucked by means of an electric pump with open impeller. Afterwards they are conveyed, via a pipe to the bag-holder tank. Polluted waters then flow out through the two filter bags, which hold the sludge inside by dropping the filtered waters into the separator tank underneath. From here, by gravity, the water, cleaned from the sludge, goes back into the collector tanks of the painting booths.
