Atex filters
In compliance with the European directive in force, ATEX filters are specifically designed to be used in potentially explosive workplaces which are exposed to the emission of dust or flammable materials which may be a dangerous source of ignition.
Advantages
Certified according to law: filters designed in compliance with the European directive ATEX 94/9/CE in force.
Suitable for potentially explosive spaces, since they’re specifically designed to treat dust and flammable materials.
Other ATEX components available: explosion relief panel, explosion suppression system, spark detector, flap valve.

Filtering systems for processing using flammable or explosive materials
Design, manufacturing and installation activities of Coral Engineering do not exclude the several sectors dealing with dry processing of materials which may cause an explosion by generating volatile dust which can become a potential source of ignition. Our range of filtering systems include ATEX certified filters (Atmosphere Explosive) which are compliant with the European directive in force which establishes the necessary requirements for all equipment to be installed in potentially explosive spaces.
In accordance with this norm, companies must identify risk zones which are classified according to dust (ATEX zone 20 – zone 21 – zone 22) and gas/vapors (ATEX zone 0 – zone 1 – zone 2). In relation to this taxonomy, companies resort to the installation of systems which are suitable for the elimination of these pollutants. ATEX filters are specifically designed for the aspiration, treatment and filtration of explosive contaminants, in order to prevent or reduce risks and damages in the event of explosion.
