Suction arms are the ideal solution for the elimination of various contaminants released by industrial processing processes. Aspiration takes place directly in the point where the harmful substances are emitted, avoiding damages to workers’ health.
Fumes and dust
Suction and filtration
Coral deals with design, manufacturing and supplying of various aspiration and filtration technologies for polluting fumes and dust deriving from the several industrial processes of dry processing of materials in respect of the actual regulation.

Mobile and Centralized Filter Units
The easy carrying of wheeled and fixed filter units makes them suitable for several workplaces, even the smallest ones. The easy positioning of these wheeled units, with the possibility of installing also a suction arm, allows to get as close as possible to the emission zone of the pollutant.
Compact cartridge filters
Compact cartridge filters are mainly used in indoor and small spaces. The compact and sturdy design integrates all the necessary elements for an efficient aspiration and filtration process of dry fumes and dust.
Horizontal cartridge filters
Horizontal cartridge filters for fumes and dust filtration, including plasma cutting fumes, ensure easier and faster filters replacement and maintenance operations, thanks to their different set up.
Vertical cartridge filters
Industrial processing generating limited concentrations of fumes and dust can use mechanical dry filtration of cartridge filters, equipped with a wide filter surface which is able to clean inlet air, retaining and separating solid particles.
Sleeves filters
Bag filters are used in several industrial processes of dry processing of materials. They’re equipped with bags in different materials depending on the pollutant to retain and their wide filtering surface can extract and filter high concentrations of dry fumes, very fine dust and metal particles. They’re available both in standard and ATEX version.
Pocket filters
Pocket filters have a wide filter surface which is able to capture and collect large quantities of polluting particles of dry fumes and dust, while maintaining low rates of pressure loss.
Atex filters
In compliance with the European directive in force, ATEX filters are specifically designed to be used in potentially explosive workplaces which are exposed to the emission of dust or flammable materials which may be a dangerous source of ignition.
Wet filters
Several applications take advantage of the efficient mixture of air and water typical of hydrodynamic functioning of wet filters, compared to common dry filters.
Suction benches
The particular design of suction benches, studied to avoid that the pollutant reaches the worker during processing on the countertop, allows dry fumes and dust aspiration at the source of production directly. Aspiration is performed within the work surface and air is filtered through filtering cartridges inside of the suction bench. Aspiration ends with the backwash compressed air cleaning of cartridges.
Suction walls
Suction walls are designed for big quantities of fumes and dust and perform a frontal extraction of fumes and dust deriving from processing which are carried to internal filtering sections of the wall or to an existing aspiration and filtration system.
Cyclone
Cyclone separators are designed for the elimination of coarse dust, shavings, sawdust, metal dust, thanks to the efficient principle of centrifugal force. Their positioning allows the abatement of dust before the filtration in a more complex system. Cyclones dimensions are calculated according to the airflow rates of the system and the quantity of pollutant to be eliminated.
Industrial vacuum units
Maintenance and cleaning of the workplace from waste and scraps are usually performed by industrial vacuum cleaners which are suitable for the aspiration of more or less polluting dust, solids or liquids, depending on their features.
Fumes and dust aspiration systems
Numerous industrial processes are responsible for the dispersion of contaminants into the workplace, so they need the installation of specific air aspiration and purification systems. The first step to choose the most suitable aspiration system is to identify the type of contaminant. Among the several technologies Coral great team of experts in aspiration systems specifically designs a series of solutions for the aspiration of dry fumes and dust generated by dry production and processing of materials. Granulometry, that is polluting solid particles size, and the respective level of dust concentration are the other two variables to consider when assessing the ideal product.
No matter what, the installation of an aspiration system is essential for any dry processing of materials not only to respect the norms in force in relation to occupational safety, but also to ensure a healthy and clean workplace to employees. Indeed, these toxic substances dispersed and suspended in the air get extremely dangerous for the health of workers who are firstly exposed to inhalation risk and consequential diseases. Finally, fumes and dust are damaging for the workplace too, since they can jeopardize the performance and, as a consequence, the productivity of the company by depositing on the equipment.
